Hiring Salary: $10 per hour for shift hours
$35 to $56 per hour for non-shift hours

Position Description: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

Reporting to the Director of Personal Training, the Certified Personal Trainer is classified as both an employee and independent contractor.

During shift hours, the CPT is an employee. Duties during shift hours include, but are not limited to, advocate the importance of health, fitness and wellness to our members and guests, while assisting and approaching them with proper practices and forms throughout their workouts; sell and promote training services, schedule orientations and training appointments; keep a clean and organized fitness floor, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained; make sure the club is well stocked and clean; take new members through a New Member Orientation regarding the use of the club’s physical fitness equipment; give club tours to potential new members; attend monthly department meetings.

During non-shift hours, the CPT is a contractor. Duties during non-shift hours include, but are not limited to, obtain personal training clients through selling and promoting at the club; design fitness programs for personal training clients; help your personal training clients achieve their health and fitness goals by demonstrating the use of exercise equipment.

Required qualifications: A Certified Personal Trainer certificate from any nationally recognized agency or a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Kinesiology or Physical Education from a four year accredited University. CPR certified. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of the club as a team.
